Trijaya Union was founded in November 15, 1978 as one of the longest operating bus manufacturers in Indonesia. Over the course of time it has been running, Trijaya Union has greatly diversified and developed beyond its core business of bus manufacturing to other related ventures within the automotive industry. Trijaya Union also currently serves the bus components market by manufacturing bus seats and fibre components. Additionally, Trijaya Union has also expanded from manufacturing to establishing assembly lines for bus chassis and components. On top of that, Trijaya Union possesses the capabilities to manufacture special vehicles to meet customers’ various special needs and demands.

Conceptualisation & Design

Our conceptualization and design capabilities, including prototyping, have allowed us to design the interior and exterior of the entire bus as well as to undertake modifications on the layout and dimensions in fulfilling the specific demands and requirements of our customers.

Manufacturing

We have the capabilities to manufacture bus bodies and assemble a wide range of buses including medium and big buses with bus bodies ranging from 9 to 18 metres in length.

Cool Timeline

1982

January

Received guidance and technical assistance from KUREHA Motors (Now known as Mitsubishi Bus Manufacturer), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motor Corporation, to improve factory layout and carrosserie manufacturing technique.

1986

September

Established the Mitsubishi Fuso Bus BL 117 Chassis Assembly Plant.

1987

May

Merging of ex Prabu Jaya Indah carrosserie factory with PT. Trijaya Union.

1991

April

PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) invested shares in PT. Trijaya Union.

2000

August

Appointed by PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors to assemble Mitsubishi Colt Diesel FE 446 F Bus Chassis.

2005

January

Appointed by PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors to assemble Mitsubishi Colt Diesel FE 334 and FE 347 Bus Chassis.

2007

January

Appointed by PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors to assemble Mitsubishi Colt Diesel FE 83 BC and FE 84 BC Bus Chassis.

2010

Juni

Appointed by PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors to produce bus chassis components and spare parts.

2012

August

PT. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors assisted PT. Trijaya Union in setting up a new production line and moved Mitsubishi SLL 300 Diesel Starwagon production from PT KBU to PT. Trijaya Union.

2017

October

Restructuring related to product line-up, namely the minibus, medium bus and big bus variants, and the layout of the carrosserie manufacturing plant facilities. Restructuring of human resources and recruiting experts in the carrosserie industry.
